Today we are making joggers! Actually – we’re making a joggers sewing pattern.

I’ve been wanting to make a jogger pattern for a while. Mostly because I am thinking about potentially trying to make some sequin joggers in the future… we shall see on that one! But first I needed to make the pattern.

So I decided to use a pair of joggers in my closet that I absolutely LOVE and have worn to death as the basis of my pattern.

So I created a video tutorial showing you exactly how I made this pattern – and how you can make one too!

And of course, once you make your pattern – don’t forget to do a test run of your pattern BEFORE cutting into any special fabrics! I used some leftover fabric pieces to do my test run and I did make a few adjustments to my pattern after trying on my test garment.

Here’s what my test run turned out like:

As you can see, for the most part they fit great! I’m super happy with how it turned out! But I did adjust the width of the legs and the length of the pants so that next time the fit will be even better!
